Description | Infrastructure is a composite part of the environmental conditions complex. It surrounds and shapes the man, yet simultaneously it is his own creation. Quantitative and qualitative levels of infrastructure can be seen as a reflection of the degree of achieved economic or social development, but also as one of the fundamental assumptions of its further progress. In the present paper we attempted to provide quantitative analysis of the selected social infrastructure facilities in four Slovak districts (Levice, Žilina, R. Sobota, Bardejov). This analysis was conducted in the context of the municipal size structure of districts, as well as in the context of the so-called minimum standards of municipal amenities. |
