| Description | The text summarises selected findings regarding the ageing processes, attention is paid particularly to specific health risks, changes in cognitive processes, self-esteem and relationships. The changes brought about by age are of individual character and results of researches are contradictory in many aspects, however, we can identify the factors that have significant influence on professional performance of every worker at an advanced age. It is under everyone s control if they can maintain a good quality of fitness for work, nevertheless, an important role is played by work environment, family or social environment. |
