Description Stone artefacts from a few important Eneolithic fortified hill-sites in the Prostějov region (Čechovsko at Čechovice, Čubernice at Ohrozim, Rmíz at Laškov, Varhany at Slatinky, Hrad at Bílovec, Obrova noha at Otaslavice) have been studied from the viewpoint of the used lithic raw materials. Local Culmian rocks were used for saddle querns and for building of fortification. Polished industry was made of imported rocks (diorites, Culmian siltstones) from the Brno area and probably from Silesia.
