Description | The usage of space is dependent on the specific actors who enter into it. Primary schools pupils, maternity leave mothers, persons with sliding working hours or people with visual impairment are significantly limited in visiting the same area in the same time. Also wheelchair population is a group with specific opportunities and limitations of time-space behavior in this way. The contribution is devoted to explore spatial and temporal patterns of people congenitally reliant on an electric wheelchair through mental mapping and same time-geography concepts. In the first place, the contribution is focused on mapping out the specifics of the usage of space by people with congenital disabilities to mobility, secondly, it deals with the desirability of using methods of mental mapping for this group of people. |
