| Description | The paper deals with the methodological essence of the censuses and its reflection in the social construction of reality based on these data. The emphasis is placed on the currently processed Population and Housing Census 2011 and its process of creation and definition of questions. Attention is also devoted to the expected errors in collecting and analyzing data, and the effort of the Czech Statistical Office to eliminate them. The paper draws attention to the relativity of statistical findings, which is reflected in a wide range of follow-up analysis and even decision-making processes. |
