Description | In this paper we present partial results of the next phase research project organizational processes learning in school and their leadership (GA CR receive funding, 2010 to 1012). The project aims to contribute to the knowledge of the theory management practices and processes of organizational learning in school. Contribution represents one of the less widely known, yet empirically and theoretically relatively strong alternative interpretations of organizational learning: the interpretation of the school as professional learning community. The concept of schools as learning The professional community is focused on creating and sharing knowledge in everyday school life. It is anchored the idea of building a professional staff collective refl exi practice, open discussion of ideas and challenges, sharing objectives and responsibilities. The empirical component contribution based on the case study schools led by the following research question: How does the school as a learning professional community in the dimensions of width, depth and anchoring learning processes? Case study school is built on depth interviews with school management and teachers, observation and study of school documents. qualitative Case study research design is chosen as adequate way to identify everyday processes learning. |
