| Description | Cleaner production is one of the preventive strategies lowering negative impacts of business production on the environment. Economical and environmental impacts of environmental innovations have been already described; however social impacts are much less known. Recent research studies conducted in the European Union indicate that integrated measures of environmental protection in companies have rather neutral or slightly positive effect regarding employment. The goal of the submitted thesis is to compare the results of the foreign Cleaner production projects with analogous projects implemented in the Czech republic, to assess its social impacts and to design modifications to the existing Cleaner production methodics. In the study quantitative as well as qualitative approach is used; a depth survey has been conducted in eleven Czech companies and three cases are thoroughly documented using the case study method in different businesses. The data obtained in the Czech companies were compared with European research data and based on the comparison the potential differences were identified. The modifications of the Cleaner production methodics used in the Czech republic are proposed on the grounds of the obtained results. |
