Description Laser Doppler technology is non-invasive method in which the laser beam used for detecting blood perfusion in the microcirculation. Average depth of blood flow ranges from 0.5 to 1.0 mm. This device uses the Doppler effect. The method was further elaborated in the 90s of last century was introduced into clinical practice technology, continuous scanning laser beam. Since then has expanded the indication of use. Today, this technology is used by various disciplines, plastic surgery, anesthesiology, burns, neurology, dermatology, angiology, etc. In this work we presents the first experience with PeriScan PIM-3 (Perimed) using a scanning imaging system PeriCam PSI based on the technology of LASCA (Laser Speckle Contrast Analysis) in burned patients in our department.
