Description The contribution presents the results of a long-term research which focuses on the education of pupils with developmental learning difficulties in the sphere of literary communication. Following the contributions which in the previous years of the research evaluated the impact of recitation on the overall linguistic cultivation of these pupils showing the possibilities to work with them in inclusive school, the author develops the so far neglected theme of assessment of recitation. First, the article deals with the assessment criteria of artistic recitation on a general scale, and then takes into account also the dyslectic pupils.
