| Description | The paper deals with the possibilities of using web map servers (map portals) for teaching geography of tourism. It is assumed that the geography of tourism for non-geographic fields of study requires at least an elementary work with geographic information systems but in its sophisticated form they bring educational problems especially to students with low cartographic / spatial information literacy. Thus we show the way of the possibility of intuitive web interface with map portals which allow linking the teaching of geography, tourism and spatial aspects of the studied phenomenon. |
