Description | This chapter analyses selected ethical and methodological issues in inclusive research and research of people with disabilities. Rights of people with disabilities were violated in the past and are violated even today. The fundamental aspects of ethical disability research include benefit for individuals with disabilities, informed and voluntary consent, collaboration of people with disabilities in research and confidentiality of personal data and information. These aspects are closely connected with the possibilities of research sample selection. Probability-based and quota sampling is appropriate for quantitative research, however, this approach runs up against many ethical and administrative issues in special education. |
