| Description | This paper stems from the analysis of selected documents of the European Union and the Czech Republic which set a priority of development of guidance and counselling services. Some documents published between 2004 and 2011 were chosen for the purpose of this analysis. They deal with guidance and counselling and lifelong learning, the integral part of which is also tertiary education and some other(adult) education at universities. The meaning and social expectations in relation to counselling are monitored in documents, furthermore, principles of providing couselling services and specific tasks for development of university counselling services in the Czech Republic are also observeed. Results of this analysis serve for designating the direction of further development of current university counselling in the Czech Republic. |
