| Description | The Lower Badenian marine sediments from the Moravian part of the Carpathian Foredeep (the borehole Ivaň IK-1 near Hustopeče) were studied from the palynological point of view. The pollen data documented subtropical climate with the dominance of zonal vegetation of evergreen broadleaved forest during the Miocene climatic optimum. |
