| Description | The publication is an outcome of a research project and discusses environmental protection in procedures under the Building Act. The introductory part is concerned with the principles of environmental protection in connection to the aforementioned procedures. Furthermore, attention is paid to the institutional background and various forms of involvement of other subjects, with a significant emphasis on promoting the interests of environmental protection. The following part analyses all particular procedures under the Building Act, land-use planning decisions, location of buildings, building permitting, their use and removal. Moreover, it deals with environmental impact assessment and public health protection issues. In other parts, environmental protection enforcement in procedures under the Building Act resulting from the component acts is explored, and the application of the neighbor’s rights is analysed as well. The last part focuses on administrative liability for violation of related obligations. |
