| Description | The chapter deals with the development, topography and structure of the settlement in the whole area of the contemporary Brno from the second half of the 6th century till the end of the 12th century, as well as with the political, church and administrative history of the so called Brno part of Moravia in the 11th and 12th centuries. It is concentrated on the changes of the early medieval centres of the Brno region and their hinterland, as well as on the material culture of their inhabitants in the mentioned time. |
