Description | Teaching English for specific purposes (in this case Information Technology) is sometimes thought of as simply presenting boring lists of technical words to be memorised by students The activities presented here try to show that it does not have to be like that – working with technical language can be both challenging and fun. General English activities can easily be adapted to practise language in a subject-specific context, and used for work not just on vocabulary but also on speaking skills, intonation or grammar. |
