Description | A high speed scanning mirror was incorporated in the path of the desorbing laser as a way to increase the MS imaging performance. Mirror scanning compensates significantly slower stage translation in small distances across the sample. Compared with commercial devices, the imaging speed was inscreased by one order of magnitude. |
