| Description | Breast augmentation with silicone implants is one of the most frequent procedures in the plastic surgery. Complications associated with the use of silicone implants, except for purely surgical complications, are a rupture, a shift, and a protrusion of the implant together with a breast deformity. The paper describes a case of 36 years old patient after breast augmentation 19 months ago with a history of secretion from the left breast lasting for several weeks and a visible protrusion of the left breast implant of 6x5cm. Due to a suspected bilateral rupture and lymphadenopathy of both axils the extraction of both implants and breast reconstruction was performed simultaneously. |
