Description Hyaluronic acid, nosulphated glycosaminoglycan, is widely used in pharmacy, especially in reepitelization of wound and in cosmetic applications. Silver ions are used for their antimicrobial properties. We studied formation of complex between these two compounds in this work, especially with the respect of its possible usage in development of vessel substitutions, where antibacterial properties of material together with its biocompatibility are highly demanded. Complex was studied electrochemically using the differential pulse voltammetry method.
