| Description | From the spatial point of view we focused on the Microregion Jindřichův Hradec. The first part of the paper deals with the brief but critical assessment of the strategic development document of the microregion. Despite of the fact that an important part of the development visions and priorities represents the quality of life of local residents, in the mentioned document completely lacks a part dealing with the subjective dimension of the quality of life (i.e. how they perceive their environment and its aspects, what are their priorities etc.). Through our own research based on the semi-structured interviews, we tried to at least partially compensate this deficiency. In the second part of the paper we therefore discussed the obtained information. We concluded that there is only a partial concordance between the two investigated views (in terms of what are the official strategic aspirations, and what the inhabitants feel and want). Alarming is the fact, that most of the local inhabitants do not know anything about the existence or activities of the microregion. |
