Matriculation

Matriculation is an academic ceremony where all newly enrolled first year full-time students are formally accepted among the academic community. Students are presented with matriculation certificates in the presence of various academic dignitaries. The matriculation ceremony is not public, i.e. no guests are invited.

While no fees apply, attendance is compulsory in the case of some faculties.
