About us
English Students' Club, ESCape for short, is a club made up of students from the Department of English and American Studies. The club organizes various events, get-togethers, and workshops focusing on Anglo-American culture or its studies. These events are open to all students of MUNI. The primary language of communication is English.
What is our mission?
Our goal is to bring together not only students of English and American Studies, but also all students who like English and the anglophone culture. We try to create a pleasant environment for everyone who wants to join our club and take part in the department and faculty life and find their place at the university.
What we are doing
Our main activities include the organization of various cultural and educational events for students of our department, but also of the whole Masaryk University. Among our well-known annual events are, for example, the Book & Bake Sale, Creativity Night, or the student conference IDEAS. We also publish a student newspaper written by students for students called The KAArdian.
