About us

The International Federation of Medical Students’ Associations (IFMSA), founded in 1951 in Copenhagen, is an independent non-political institution encompassing 124 national organisations in 116 countries. IFMSA CZ branches are located in all eight medical faculties in the Czech Republic. The main goal of IFMSA is to strengthen international cooperation between medical students, help develop their skills and promote a sense of awareness of key health issues around the world among students and the public. In addition to organising international exchange programmes and projects designed to educate the general public, we also focus on improving the knowledge and skills of the students themselves.

What we are doing
