How can I extend the validity of my ISIC card?

Your ISIC card is always valid for 16 months – from the start of September until the end of December the following year. The card’s validity is indicated on the first page of the plastic or digital card in the format, e.g., 09/2023–12/2024.

You can extend the validity of your MU ISIC card online via digital revalidation. You can make an application at MU Shopping center, where you will also find the current price for extending your card validity. The validity of your digital card will automatically change in the Alive App after successful payment and registration in the database.

The ISIC licence on your plastic card will not be visibly extended. You can continue to use your plastic card within the university.

We recommend that you place your application for the extension before the start of each academic year. Orders can be placed as early as August 1, 2024

If you do not pay for your digital revalidation in time, your licence will remain valid until the end of the calendar year. After the expiry date has passed, your ISIC licence will become invalid. Your digital card will no longer be functional and you will not be able to use it with discount providers and other ISIC partners!
