- Jan Bouda published 17 papers in impacted journals (Web of Knowledge), his works were cited more than 520 times (Web of Knowledge without autocitations). He gave more than 20 talks at international conferences, 2 of them invited, more than 20 talks at seminars of foreign universities (including e.g. University of Cambridge, Perimeter institute, Univ. Toronto, NU Singapore) and 2 courses at international summer schools. He was participating on development of the European absolutely secure quantum network (EU FP6 project SECOQC). He served as the coordinator of the EU FP7 FET--Open project "Randomness and Quantum Entanglement" (RAQUEL, consortium of Masaryk University Brno, Universitat Autonoma de Barcelona, University of Vienna, University of Gdansk, University of Riga, ETH Zurych and Freie Universitat Berlin). He currently serves as coordinator of the EU Horizon 2020 Quantera II (ERA-net) project "Experimentally-oriented Device Independent Cryptography" (eDICT, consortium of Masaryk University, University of Gdansk, Hungarian Academy of Sciences (ATOMKI), ETH Zurych, and Austrian Academy of Sciences). He currently serves as the representative (sherpa) of the Czech Republic in the European Quantum Infrastructure Initiative, and deputy representative in the security board of the European Quantum Infrastructure Initiative. He is the head of the Quantum Information research group of the Masaryk University, qicz.fi.muni.cz.
