| Popis | The points scored by free throw shooting are a part of the total score of victorious and defeated teams. The differences in statistical characteristics of the free throw shooting have been determined on a sample of 16 basketball teams (191 female players) at U16 European Championship Women 2011. From the total difference in score and number of free throw shots was the number of analyzed games reduced to 40. In analyzed games the significance in statistical characteristics of free throw shooting (number of free throw attempts, free throws made, percentage of successfulness) between victorious and defeated teams has not been ascertained. It shows the multifactorial character of the victory in a basketball game and the irreplaceableness of individual factors. It is recommended to verify these findings also in basketball teams of different age, sex and performance level. |
