Popis | Here we present the development of the Laser Induced Breakdown Spectroscopy (LIBS) setup in the Stand-Off mobile configuration. The setup with potential applications mainly in the field of archeology, geology and metal industry enables to move the LIBS technique and its advantages out of the laboratory. The stand-Off configuration utilizes refracting telescope to focus high energy laser pulse onto the sample surface in the given distance (~ 6 m) and reflecting telescope to remotely collect the radiation of the induced plasma. The process of the development is described from the first table-top testing setup to the present fully mobile setup, together with the design intentions for the near future. Some of the spectra obtained from analysis of different materials in the distance of 6.2 m will be shown to demonstrate the performance of the current setup. |
