Popis | Parents are usually the first who identify that their child differs in some of his or her extraordinary abilities from other children and thus they become the discoverers of their child’s gift. Such a finding can be suprising for many of them and it is usually accompanied by positive expectations, discomfitures, perplexity and – in some cases – even by problematical educational decisions. The goal of our paper is to provide an orientation of attitudes which the parents of gifted children tend to adopt and also to give an outline of an institutional support on which parents can rely. The paper is a part of investigation within the research intent Special Needs of Pupils in Context with Framework Educational Programme for Primary Education (MSM0021622443). |
