| Popis | This article describes the experience of teaching the Russian film course at the Department of Slavonic Languages at the Masaryk University in Brno. The author depicts the effort to focus the course on both the cultural and sociolinguistic aspects of the Russian film phenomenon. It is explained why teaching this subject in such a combined form is important and up-to-date. Further, it is argued that using various methods and techniques for teaching this seminar is an important aspect of effective teaching of linguocultural courses in general. The article also describes the advantages and disadvantages of this kind of teaching in practice with Czech speaking students. |
