| Popis | Oplodontha minuta as a species previously recorded only from India and Srí Lanka is here documented from Socotra Island, Egypt and Afghanistan and the known distribution of it is therefore extended to the Afrotropical as well as to the Oriental Region. O. oasina Lindner is only a synonym of O. minuta. A distribution map of the previously known stratiomyid species from Socotra Island, Adoxomyia socotrae Hauser, 2002, is provided. |
