Popis | Nanoparticles preparation by bottom-up methods depends strongly on using molecular precursors and the type and na-ture of precursors have a decesive effect of their formation and properties. They can greatly affect their resulting size, size distri-bution, shape1 and optical properties.2 In case of Cu, Ag, and Cu/Ag nanoparticles we can observe plasmon resonances and their close connection with the size, shape and distribution of sizes. We synthetized several new copper precursors by reduction of Cu(II) salts of carboxylic acids by triphenylphosphine.3 This approach was also used for the CuAg nanoalloy from a single source precursor. The molecular structures of new precursors were completely characterized by single crystal X-ray diffraction analyses. We exam-ined also chemical, spectroscopic, and ther-mal properties of prepared precursors. CuAg alloy nanoparticles were pre-pared by solvothermal hot-injection tech-nique4,5 from the new precursors based on Cu(I) complexes. Variations in resulting properties of prepared nanoalloys, specially optical properties, were observed for differ-ent copper precursors. |
