For unsatisfactory effect enhanced by the addition of amphotericin B. Despite all the care patient a month after diagnosis dies of sepsis. A subsequent autopsy found the cause of death: abscessing necrotizing bronchopneumonia, but the surprise was the absence of fungal elements both by microscopy and cultivation. |
