| Popis | Using the data from the space missions operating in the infrared and the astrometry from the Gaia satellite, we investigated the occurence of bow shocks around high-mass X-ray binaries. A number of circumstellar nebulae were found, however, genuine bow shocks were found to be rare, most likely due to low kinematical age of this class of objects - compared to the other types of runaway stars. |
