Popis | When a philosopher claims to refuse human rights, misunderstanding may occur, since the concept of human rights involves a lot of ideas about what it means. Does that mean that they advocate forced labour and slavery? Or does it mean that they just reject the metaphysic concept of human rights as such? These questions illustrate two ways in which we can reject human rights. One way is a perspective of political philosophy as an applied form of normative ethics, while the other way is the perspective of metaethics. The paper aims to briefly introduce these approaches and present a difference between them. |
