| Popis | Hemicucurbiturils are macrocycles consisting of ethyleneurea building blocks linked by one row of methylene bridges. Hemicucurbiturils also include bambusurils and biotinurils as special examples of these macrocycles. In this chapter, the fundamental properties, synthesis, host–guest properties and applications of hemicucurbiturils are discussed with special attention to highlight the similarities and differences between different types of hemicucurbituril derivatives. |
