Popis | Correlations between the environment (topography, soil factors, canopy cover) and the proportion of plant species with different geographical distributions were studied in the deep crystalline valley of the Dyje-Thaya river on the Czech-Austrian border. Modified classification of species ranges in to range types (Arealtypen) of Meusel et Jäger (1992) was used. It is suggested that there is a correlation between the performance of particular range types and certain types of environments. The main trends in the data are summarized in a model based on the canonical correspondence analysis. |
