Popis | A study of three distinct drip water sources in the Moravian Karst cave systems was conducted. Electrical conductivity, pH, saturation index with respect to calcite, and CO2 partial pressures were analyzed over a 15-month period. Significant differences among the drips were revealed: high aggressiveness and seasonality were observed in the seasonal drip M (Amatérská Cave), equilibrium with slight oversaturation was found in the permanent drip TC1 (Punkva Caves), and seasonal variability with low carbonate saturation was noted in seepage water BS1 (Býčí Skála Cave). The diverse properties and origins of low-saturated drips in cave systems were highlighted, demonstrating that their formation can be attributed to various factors including rapid water influx, seasonal effects, and calcite precipitation processes. |
