Popis The aim of this paper is to comprehensively investigate the factors that significantly impact the prognosis of functional movement disorders (FMD) in children and adolescents. To achieve this, we have expanded our scope to incorporate insights gathered from qualitative interviews with patients suffering from FMD. The aim of these interviews was to map the subjective perception of the process of diagnosis, communication, and the setting of intervention methods from the patient's point of view, to map the subjective factors entering into this process (e.g., socio-economic, psychological, and others), to map the subjective perception of the effectiveness of applied methods that were used individually in patients, and to identify common areas and themes among this group of patients.
