Popis Modern medical education primarily focuses on acquiring and skillfully using theoretical knowledge to master practical skills that require critical and creative thinking. Consequently, the education process aims to develop all types of technical and non-technical competences, as well as learning outcomes (knowledge, skills, social competences) tailored to each medical field. These include areas related to the specificity of professional work, life activities, self-development, and cooperation with members of therapeutic teams. Over the last 30 years, there has been significant evolution in education, with the most noticeable transformations occurring after 2010. These changes primarily coincided with advancements in technology and the adoption of mainstream educational models. They included the broadening of education to embrace protection outside of traditional care settings, as well as childcare, in line with societal expectations, medical science standards, and pedagogical techniques. Additionally, shifts in societal expectations now prioritize patient safety and ethical judgment in procedures involving living patients. The joint integration of scientific communities in medical areas has provided the opportunity to share knowledge among representatives of the Visegrad Group countries.
