| Popis | In this article, I attempt to shed light on a specific aspect of the life and organisation of political refugees in the socialist countries, focusing on the example of Czechoslovakia and studying the newspaper Agonistis, which was published from 1950 to 1977. Thus, in the first part of my research I attempt to document the basic themes of the newspaper, to analyze its multifaceted contribution, as well as its multifaceted role in the society. In the second part, I proceed to a comparative study on the one hand regarding the image of the Greek and Czechoslovak states and, on the other hand, regarding the capitalist societies and People's Democracies as conveyed by Agonistis to its readership. At the same time, I aim to explain these illustrations by discussing the ideological profile of the newspaper and the historical-political context in which the aforementioned constructions are created. |
