Popis | A total number of 187 specimens of chub were examined and 3422 speciemens of monogenean parasites belonging to 18 species have been found. Spatial distribution of seven most abundant species: Dactylogyrus folkmanovae, D. nanoides, D. prostae, D. vistulae, Gyrodactylus laevis, G. lamberti and Paradiplozoon ergensi, was analysed. Parasites preferred a larger microhabitat in heavily infected fish than in slightly infected ones. Influence of environmental factors on microhabitat distribution of monogenean parasites on the gill apparatus of the host fish was not recorded. |
