Popis | Granulites found in clasts in Upper Visean conglomerates of the Drahany Uplands feature a strong overprint at medium pressure and high temperature. Geothermobarometry, mineral zoning and reaction textures are consistent with two-stage exhumation, characterized by first isothermal decompression and second near-to-isobaric cooling. Zircon, monazite and rutile U-Pb data are consistent with the two-stage exhumation, two, rapid consistent with the isothermal period, and slower corresponding to the isobaric stage. Possible sources of heat responsible for the medium-pressure younger overprint are discussed. chronological dating of these granulites |
