| Popis | The results of the guided interviews with the principle representatives of 18 villages belonging into the functional urban region of the town Poprad showed the decisive role of such transformation processes as residential suburbanization and development of tourism and second housing in the local development. The most actual and perspective from the mentioned processes seems to be the residential suburbanization fulfilling the common local self-governments vision of quantitative development as a synonym for local development. In this way the most important barrier is the problem with the fragmented ownership and settlement of land. |
