Popis | This study provides the data set sampled using methods on algal assemblages over large area of Central Europe. It overcomes drawbacks of previous analyses, which were influenced by different traditions of data collection in individual countries or percularities of local inventory projects. The main topics include the investigation and distribution of algae, their taxonomic and autecological status. Their ecological and biogeographic relationships on stone and bark tree substrata of subaerial habitats, e.g., semiarid, arid and hostile environments, in urban habitats. That study is focused on the spread of species, persistence vs. extinction of native species and biotic homogenization (McKinney 2006) using standardized sampling protocols and four target taxonomic groups: Trentepohliophyceae, Trebouxiophyceae, Chlorophyceae and Klebsormidiophyceae. Financial support for this study was provided by the Funding of Ministry of Education of Czech Republic project No. MSM0021622416. |
