| Popis | In the present checklist, 511 species are listed: 476 species for the Czech Republic (380 for Bohemia, 428 for Moravia), and 439 for Slovakia. Compared with the fauna of neighbouring countries (Austria 508 species, Germany 500, Hungary 443, Poland 470) (Tschorsnig et al. 2007), the fauna of the Czech Republic and Slovakia is well known, but new records are frequently published. Nevertheless, further tens of species may be expected from both countries (see also Novotná et al. 2009). |
