Popis | One of nanotechnological goals is using the nanoparticles (carbon, magnetic) for targeted drug delivery or advanced in vivo and in vitro analytical detection of specific biomolecules and/or imaging diagnostics. However, careful investigation of possible adverse effects must be carried out. Among principal methods of the nanoparticle synthesis there are conferred co-precipitation, thermal deposition and laser pyrolysis. In this study, we have used low pressure microwave PECVD process for preparation of iron based nanoparticles and coated by several methods. The synthesised nanopowders (0,1,10 and 100mikrog/ml) were then tested for bioactivity and biotoxicity on plant BY-2 tobacco cells. For this purpose, we have used determination cell viability, differential pulse voltammetry Brdicka reaction (total content of thiols) and liquid chromatography with electrochemical detection (glutathiones) and spectrometry (antioxidant activity). We have found the great differences between coated and un-coated particles, because the un-coated have had much greater toxicity than –COOH coated. Moreover, the un-coated particles caused enhancement of level of thiols and antioxidant activity, which relates to their adverse effects on the cells. |
