The Dean of the Faculty of Sports Studies of MU announces a selection procedure to fill the position
Assistant in the study programmes Physiotherapy and Conditioning Training and Applied Kinesiology
for the Department of Physical Activity and Health
The Faculty of Sports Studies at Masaryk University is one of the smaller, progressively developing faculties. Its mission is to contribute to a physically active and healthy life for all age and performance groups of the population and to the advancement of knowledge in the field of sport and physical activity. The faculty is located in a modern university campus in Brno-Bohunice.
Job description:
- Teaching of the subjects Propedeutics in Rehabilitation and Kinesiology, Algesiology and Derived Techniques of Diagnosis and Therapy (study programme Physiotherapy) and the subjects Regeneration and Rehabilitation in Sports Practice and Diagnosis and Movement System in ontogeny (study programme Conditioning Training and Applied Kinesiology);
- supervising and opposing bachelor's and master's theses;
- scientific and publishing activities;
- Involvement in project activities.
General requirements:
- Master's degree in Physiotherapy or other related field;
- at least 1 year experience as a physiotherapist;
- excellent knowledge of Czech language, active knowledge of English (written and verbal);
- active attitude, initiative and willingness to further education.
