The department of Theoretical Physics and Astrophysics at the Faculty of Science of MU is a modern workplace that deals with basic and applied research in a wide range of physical fields. It provides teaching of study programmes covering all levels, from undergraduate to doctoral degree.

Job Description

  • A position teaching basic courses in Physics and Mathematics with a particular focus on the teaching of future high school teachers. Job duties also include teaching exercise and seminar classes as well as supervising bachelor’s and diploma theses

Skills and Qualifications

  • The applicant must have:
  • Ph.D. in Physics
  • Minimum 6 years of experience in teaching physics at the university level
  • Ability to lecture in Czech

The applicant should have:

  • Experience teaching in a secondary school an advantage
  • Good command of the English language (written and verbal)
