Lector at the Department of Public Health of the Faculty of Medicine MU
(part time job)

The Department of Public Health is an educational and research workplace of the Medical Faculty of MU. Provides teaching of students in theoretical and preclinical fields.

The Workplace: Brno, the Czech Republic

The scope of your work will be:

• participation in theoretical and practical teaching at the workplace
• preparation of the study and teaching materials
• conducting consultation hours for students
• contribution to publications, especially for educational purposes
• contribution to the organisational support of pedagogical activities, including related      administration

Required qualification:

Lector I completed university education in the field relevant for Public Health or equivalent education  attained abroad

Lector II completed education in a doctoral study program or specialized qualification according to Act No. 95/2004 Coll. (doctors, dentists and pharmacists), or Act No. 96/2004 Coll. (non-medical health professions)

• ability to work independently as a professional, including publishing activities
• experience in the field or teaching experience is an advantage
• ability to work as part of a team
• ability to work independently as a professional and scientist, including publishing activities
• excellent knowledge of the Czech language written and spoken
• fluent English (spoken and written)
• active approach, initiative and willingness for further education
• moral integrity
