Department of Chemistry at the Faculty of Science MU is one of the largest departments of the Faculty of Science. Our research covers all main fields of chemistry – analytical, inorganic, physical, and organic chemistry – as well as materials and biophysical chemistry and restoration and conservation chemistry. Degree programs cover all levels, from bachelor's to doctoral level. We also participate in the teaching of a number of other study programs.

Job Description

Key Duties:

• Teaching and supervising students, research in the field of inorganic chemistry

Skills and Qualifications

The applicant must have:

• Ph.D. degree in the field of inorganic chemistry or related fields
• Previous international experience – Ph.D. study or long-term postdoctoral fellowship (minimum 2 years) at internationally recognized institutions
• Proven record of scientific work, publication outputs, and scientific presentations
• Capability of establishing and leading a research group in the field of inorganic chemistry
• Successful grant history
• Experience in teaching and supervising students in the field of inorganic chemistry or relevant fields
• Good knowledge of the Czech and English languages (spoken and written)
